Department of Materials Science & Engineering
The Department of Materials Science & Engineering develops materials that satisfy the physical properties required in various industrial fields by controlling the structure and composition of materials based on the basic principle that various properties appear depending on the material and structure of the material, and explores materials that can effectively respond to future industries by developing and applying materials with new functions that could not be achieved. Since future science and technology are expected to develop in close connection with the 4th industrial revolution, this department nurtures talents who know about developing “Intelligent materials (I-Mat)” that can effectively respond to future industries.
